Biography

Tania Lisa Laney was born and raised in Ontario, Canada.  She grew up on the rolling hills of her parent’s campground, The River Place Resort located by the Saugeen River.  Tania asked Jesus to live in her heart at the early age of 7. Tania grew up in the church and remembers her Dad playing the organ and piano. Both of her parents are musically gifted and influenced Tania by planting seeds of love for Christian gospel praise music and singing.  Growing up, Tania was awkward, clumsy, shy and introverted.  She was often targeted by school bullies. She never thought in a million years that God would use her to teach and influence others through a voice of love and encouragement!

Tania and her beloved husband Jason, just celebrated 28 years together and they are still in love. When they first married in college, Jason and Tania wanted to be DINKS - “Double Income No Kids.” Tania had plans of attending Harvard’s School of Business and obtaining her Masters Degree in Business Administration.

God had a very different and better plan for their future. After baptism at the age of 23, Tania came up out of the water radically changed. She said YES Lord and it’s been an exciting roller coaster ride ever since. Jason and Tania are raising their 6 kids and building their marriage and home on the solid rock of Jesus Christ, Tania loves being a full time wife and mom and CEO of tanialaney.com. She believes that love/respect in marriage and parenting teenagers is the most challenging job and the most rewarding.
God has gently wooed Tania out of her shy comfort zone and opened opportunities for her to serve, sing and encourage others. She admits to making every mistake and failing over and over however, she does not allow the enemy to use those failures against her.  Instead, she claims God’s promises and victory over her life daily.

Tania gets real and personal when talking about faith, worship, her marriage, respect and love, raising kids and discipline issues, adoption, self image issues, deep betrayal, tragedy, disappointments and many other challenges.  She knows how tough life is and does not sugar coat it. 

Tania's vision is to see women healed and living out their God given destiny with purpose and passion. Tania has dedicated the last 30 years to serving her church and community as a Bible study facilitator, and event coordinator overseeing every aspect from the leadership teams and volunteers to the catering and praise music. She has coordinated it all from children’s musicals, fundraisers, tea parties, fashion shows, and luau’s to huge ladies events drawing crowds over 1100 women. Her anointed voice and inspirational story will bless your socks off and the joy of the Lord is truly her strength.

​She continues to coach and mentor many women today through chick coaching! She offers simple solutions for living a healthy, balanced lifestyle empowering women to choose faith over fear!
